Through an Environmental Medicine lens, we partner with our patients to investigate and address how everyday chemical exposures contribute to biochemical and genetic alterations, nutrient deficiencies that lead to conditions related to neurological, hormonal, immune, and mental health. Toxicants found in our air, food, water, homes, and personal care products can have significant long-term effects on health.
Conventional healthcare often does not fully recognize how these cumulative exposures contribute to “chronic complex conditions”, illnesses that involve multiple body systems and present with a wide range of persistent symptoms. These conditions, along with many others, are often influenced by environmental exposures including pesticides, mold, plastics, heavy metals, solvents, and electromagnetic frequencies.
